Domain Rating is a metric by Ahrefs. domainrating.lol is not affiliated with Ahrefs — we read the number, we don’t set it, and paying to unlock a listing never moves it.
What this number is
Domain Rating (DR) is Ahrefs’ own 0–100 score for how strong a site’s backlink profile is, on a logarithmic scale — the gap between DR 70 and DR 80 is much bigger than the gap between DR 20 and DR 30. It says nothing about traffic, revenue or how good a site actually is: it is purely a measure of who links to it, and how strong those links are.
This checker asks Ahrefs for that number directly and shows whatever comes back. We never estimate, interpolate or carry a stale figure forward as if it were fresh — a domain Ahrefs hasn’t rated yet gets an honest “no rating”, not a guess.
Every site on the ranking is ordered only by this same figure, refreshed daily. Paying to unlock a listing never changes its Domain Rating or its place on the ranking.
